Pascale Sabaté
Pascale loves bringing together wood essences and colors, always respecting lines and volumes to the fullest. Each creation tells a story - unique, just like each of us.
Every knife she makes is a one-of-a-kind piece, imbued with its own personality.
She places great importance on lines, the harmony of wood fittings, the overall balance of the knife, and the interplay of volumes, colors, and materials.
Constantly evolving, she is driven by creativity, artistic passion, and the exploration of new techniques.
She enjoys combining functionality and artistry, whether in fixed or folding knives, to bring beauty into everyday gestures.

YANON
Collaboration project with Serge Raoux
This project is made up of a set of three pieces: one shared and two individual ones:
(1) a folding knife (liner lock) made entirely by Pascale, with a handle engraved by Serge Raoux. The knife was named ‘Yoru no ya no ame’, which means ‘Rain of arrows in the night’. Serge engraved "arrowheads on one side of the handle and arrow shafts on the other. All in black ebony, symbolising the night.
(2) Pascale Sabaté's free interpretation of a ya-no-ne (arrow).
(3) Serge Raoux's free interpretation of a ya-no-ne in stained boxwood.
The liner lock blade is made of RWL34 stainless steel, and the arrow is made of 14C28 stainless steel.
For the handles, the liner and the large arrow are made from the same block of Macassar ebony.
Serge Raoux's arrow is made of carved and stained boxwood.
To showcase the ensemble, Pascale created a stand made of olive wood burl and mangrove root.
