Sophie has lived in the workshop for 55 years. From her father and her mentors, she inherited a passion for gesture and material. From stag antler to meteorite, passing through mammoth and dinosaur, she creates relentlessly!

Deeply inhabited by her work and her passion, she celebrates this year forty years in the workshop, along with her title of Master Artisan in the Fine Crafts.

In knifemaking, Sophie symbolically finds all the elements: air, earth, water, fire. Her work binds her endlessly to the earth.

She cuts away the ties of everything that might disturb her.
